New Mattress at Last

Well about six months ago I made a post saying I was getting a mattress in the near future, well that got put on the back burner but here I am six months later and I finally have it. I didn't get the most expensive mattress on the market, it isn't memory foam or posturepedic unfortunately. No bells or whistles to speak of, but anything is better than the constant reminder that I need a new bed by my old mattress stabbing me with a loose spring.

I honestly can't even tell you what brand it is. I found it at a furniture market that was going out of business near where I live. The asking price was more than reasonable and it was comfortable, so I took it. My only issue with the mattress is that its really thick and hangs over the head board. It's twice as thick as my old mattress. I feel really high up and have a nagging fear that if I fall off my bed I'm going to wake up in a body cast.

I wish I could have afforded a memory foam mattress but at the moment I just don't have the green for it. However, the mattress I purchased will definitely suffice. I've already had a week of great sleep on it.
