I still have yet to get a new mattress, just haven't had the time to go out hunting for one. I'm definitely making a point to pick one up next weekend at the latest. Seeing as how I haven't had official sleeping quarters for some time now, I've had to improvise. These are the different places Ive passed out. I'll list pros and cons to each.
Floor - honestly there aren't too many pros for this one. Having been kicked and stepped on all night, not only did I not get much sleep but I also woke up feeling like I had been dropped on my neck. Avoid the floor at all costs.
Car - Fell asleep in my car recently, (don't ask) I actually dug this arrangement. Slightly cramped, but the seats were actually pretty comfortable and if you don't want anyone disturbing you, simply lock the doors.
Bath tub - Passed out in the bath tub a while back. A very underrated place to sleep in my opinion. If you're hung over you have the toilet right next to you. Also the next morning, you don't have to move to shower. On the downside however, you're friends may decide it would be amusing to douse you in ice cold water from the shower head.

Oh man that is hilarious. I feel asleep once on the floor, right next to a couch, and when I woke up I was so angry that I didn't land on the couch. Oh well. Now I'm all about the mattress.
Couches aren't bad, depends on the couch, and how long you sleep there. I'd say they are best for short naps.
I slept on a futon for awhile - they are cheap and comfy but not optimal.
Max - as you can see I bolded the three different sleeping spots. The formatting helps the reader dissect the page a little better.
